Local PC settings then might be worthwile to compare to working PC.

The other question is how do you configure the session - is it all hard
coded in exe or do you use INI or such config file (things like server
IP etc) ?

If you use such file is it global (on same share as exe) or something
that is per-PC or per-user ?

Basically it boils down whether there is possibility that this one PC
has somehow wrong settings (trying to connect as Unicode instead of ANSI
or using different signature - all of those should be throwing a
different error though but i figured i'd ask).
