Deleted everything (configuration files, database files, catalog files, and the INI file and then installed version 1.03 (Unicode). When I try to create a database manually, it seems to go through the process correctly, but the resulting database name has extra characters appended to it, and so will not open (TimeKeeper was the name I entered, and TimeKeeperKeeperion? is the name displayed in EDB Manager.) Even the Configuration database has extra characters appended to the name (Configurationration???????). (Question marks are what are displayed in EDB Manager, not my addition.) When I close and re-open the EDB Manager, and connect my session, the Configuration database name has changed to Configurationration?A, as though the string is not being initialized correctly. -- Gordon Turner Mycroft Computing http://www.mycroftcomputing.com |

I am a new customer and will only be using the Unicode versions and cannot create tables or anything else with the current state of the EDB Manager. This makes it difficult to test the product. |
