How can I know the last modified date of a table, in fast mode?


inside information.table it is not available.

i have see file date of file, it is old , not usable for me,

i should make a flush data without close all tables...

I don't think there's anything that Tim provides that will do that. I was going to recommend using the .EDBTbl file's modified date but having had a little play I'm not sure just when that would get updated. Its probably when the last instance of the table being open is closed but we'll have to wait for someone (eg Tim) who actually knows.

Are you using the replication functionality, or rolling your own ?  If the latter, then you should really consider using the replication functionality, it is very easy to create a mirror/hot backup server using it.

ElevateDB doesn't track this information because it isn't particularly accurate for most purposes.  ElevateDB uses an update counter internally to track changes to a table, as well as a similar technique as part of a distributed counter algorithm for replication.
