No, a TCurrencyField in Delphi is just a "dressed-up" TFloatField with different formatting.  What you want to use in order to get an actual Currency data type (scaled integer with implicit scale of 4) is the TBCDField.  In the DBISAM Database System Utility, this would be the BCD field type

Sorry to be late, but I was away for some days and had much other things to do. Yes I will post it here if they are ready to do so. I have actually some other things to do and the EDB-Stuff I'm working on must wait.
