Just hoping that Tim's elves are hard at work building for this

Malcolm,

I'm doing a new EDB build next week, but we received an Embarcadero email stating that there are some issues with the update in terms of .dcu compatibility, so I'm holding off until I find out more from Embarcadero.

However, in general: unless something directly affects *our* code, as long as there is .dcu compatibility you can use the update with the *existing* EDB .dcus without issue and still get the benefit of the updated Embarcadero code (via *their* .dcus).

Hi Tim

Actually the only 3rd party component set I know of that is stopping me
is .. yours.  Frown

I am getting this error:
[dcc32 Fatal Error] DiveDM.pas(19): F2051 Unit edbcomps was compiled
with a different version of System.Generics.Collections.TArray.Sort

But I can, at last, make some progress on my Android apps which have
been stagnating .. forever .. it seems.

So I do have things I can get on with until you judge it is safe to get
stuck in.  Smile

I see that Embarcadero have released a fix to the broken DCU compatibility, so early birds need to update again.

OK, in my case at least, the updated update to the Tokyo update has no
trouble building and running Tim's magicware.
All other 3rd party components that I use are OK too.

Thanks for the update.  I'm going ahead with the Tokyo update for our build systems using the fixed update, and that should work fine for all parties.
