Francisco,

<< I'have tried with 2.24B3 and still does not work, I attach a image with error and a explorer window with the folder open. >>

There is an issue with the user account being used for the service, in conjunction with the configuration of the drives/folders that you're trying to access.  This is going to take a hands-on investigation of the machine in question.  I can do that for you, but we have to schedule a time to do a remote desktop session, and you're going to need an active subscription with support.

<< Also the try icon still missing after change registry param. >>

I'm not sure of what else to tell you on this - whether or not the icon can be displayed and used is controlled by Windows.  In general, Windows is moving away from allowing services to interact with the desktop, and we are also moving in that direction (don't have a choice).  EWB 3 will have a web server that does not have a UI, and eventually this will be the case for EDB and DBISAM, also.  Instead, there will be configuration tools that allow you to configure the server externally (as well as start and stop the server).

You should write a "monitor/control" application, which comunicates with the service via MAILSLOT or something similar. I have done the same for an own service I wrote and it works perfectly. Under newer Windows versions (since 2003?) we need the serivce and an additional Monitor/Control application which runs under the logged in user account, as the OS itself prohibits to have interaction with the desktop from a service.

This is realy something I would love to see in an upcoming release.

Rolf

Tim has a TCP/IP connection already of course, so that would be ideal. Just got to make sure that authentication is good to stop that channel being abused.

Hi all.

I think the problem is solved. I have tried to stop sharing folder and share again and now it works fine, I think this was an windows error.

Thank's you all.
