Lance Rasmussen CDE Software Team Elevate | Great info!
I'm actually looking to do something similar and the example given is perfect. One computer's version of Application will be the Main/Server and the others would need to be flipped to Client mode. Course.... What I'm really chomping on bit for is an easy/easier way to basically use EDB as I would something like SQLite where I don't so much care about being 1 single file, but have the treatment as a simple single thing without the extra layers of catalog and user stuff. My "data file" is actually several flat files with the same file name and different extension. And my customers can back up, exchange and restore their data. I added a SQLite file into that mix so I could do some SQL based stuff and use the same file name and the SQLite db extension. So that works well.... for SQLite. But would rather have power of EDB.
