Just had a look at the manual and ErrorMessage is not defined so I suspect its a simple string. Since the message is part of the table's metadata you would have to have exclusive access to alter the error message before using so not much use for what you want. You'll need to trap the error and raise a custom message which gets messy in code if you have a lot of them. Roy Lambert |
