Greg Hallam Microcalm Solutions Inc | With the I/O buffering being introduced in 2.28, I was wondering how many developers have adopted it and what results you have experienced?

<< With the I/O buffering being introduced in 2.28, I was wondering how many developers have adopted it and what results you have experienced? >> Are you still seeing issues with the latest and greatest ? I've been stress-testing it occasionally over the last month or so, and still can't break it. Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

Greg Hallam Microcalm Solutions Inc | I have been running it at two other sites successfully. They are not as high a volume of activity/transactions so I really can't see any performance difference, but all has been good. I have not tried it again at the site/application that was giving us trouble. This is not the month for that. Maybe in the new year.
I really want to get there as it seems as if it should provide some performance improvements when you have multiple clients hitting/changing the same tables simultaneously. |
