Hello,
 Is it me or BufferedFileIO does not set exclusiveness to the database with 2.30b1 ?
 (With BufferedFileIO on my server app i can open the tables with EDBManager too)

Hmm, i can access the tables that it's currently using ... So is this normal or it should block catalog access too ?

Are you sure the files are actually under Buffered IO ?

(I.e. BufferedFileIOSettings includes those files either direct or thru
wildcard)

 All i'm doing is EDBEngine.BufferedFileIO := True; at Datamodule creation. (before the engine starts)

Yeah, there's a bug in there related to the MacOS platform updates introduced in 2.29.  I'll have a fix out in 2.30 B2.
