EDB allows multiple *servers* to share the same database(s), as well as servers to share the same databases with other applications.  So, there are situations where it cannot know which *process* has a row locked, and so it doesn't provide this information.

I'm slowly moving EDB away from this model with the global file I/O buffering and exclusive access to the underlying databases, so I will see what I can do about providing this information when the global file I/O buffering is enabled.  In such a case, EDB *can* determine who has what locked, although I'll have to see what's involved with such a change.
