Thread migrate 1.04b2 non unicode not working
Fri, Jun 15 2007 9:42 AMPermanent Link

Wim
Hi,

I installed 1.04b2.
I am trying to migrate dbisam files with edbmanager
I am not seeing the "migrate from dbisam" function like is explained in the help.
I only see "Migrate database"

When I click on this menu, I must choose a migrator but the combobox is empty.

What am I doing wrong ?

Thanks
Wim.

The answer it's in the manual actually. Well you have to
copy the migrator from the "libs" folder to the folder
which contains your catalog file.

The manual doesn't say "Migrate from DBISAM" anymore:

You need to make sure that the desired migrators are copied into the
configuration folder that you're using.  Then restart the EDB Manager and it
will automatically register them for use.  This is discussed here:

Tanks Tim and Michael for your answer.
I got it working now.

I opened the EDBmanager help local on my pc, it was still the old version.
Maybe something left over from previous installs ...
