Tim,

After a migrating from DBISAM 4 to EDB 1.03, all the tables that had a
major version=1 and minor version=8 have now version=2.00 .

It's a bug in the Tables Information schema table.  The table version is
being set properly, just not displayed properly via the catalog queries.  A
fix will be 1.03 B2.

Now, the same tables are converted to version 1.80 .
Is this as designed or a bug ?
I was expecting version 1.08, not 1.80.

I think you entered 1.8 originally.  1.08 stays as 1.08 here when I use it.

Tim,

Of course I entered "8" for "UserMinorVersion".
There is no difference between 8 and 08 since the type of
"UserMinorVersion" is "Word". I'm afraid I don't understand what you
said...

Sorry, I forgot that we were still talking about the migration and not just
setting the version number in EDB.  I will make sure to fix this issue with
the migration - it's simply appending the minor version number without
padding it to two places ('1.00').

Tim,

No problem. It was only a test - the "real" conversion of my app is only
programmed to start in a month.
Thank you.
