Migration from BDE |

Fernando Dias Team Elevate | Tim,
Migrating a DB from BDE/Paradox to EDB 1.04b2, I found this 2 problems: 1. Setting the "Collation" parameter to "PTG" has no effect: the collation of the resulting table is "ANSI". 2. RI rules of the original Paradox tables are not migrated to EDB. -- Fernando Dias Easygate, Lda |

<< 1. Setting the "Collation" parameter to "PTG" has no effect: the collation of the resulting table is "ANSI". >> I'll check this out. << 2. RI rules of the original Paradox tables are not migrated to EDB. >> This is as-designed. The BDE migration is a bare-minimum migration. I didn't get into low-level BDE calls to get all of the extra stuff. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

Fernando Dias Team Elevate | Tim,
> This is as-designed. The BDE migration is a bare-minimum migration. I Ok. While (1.) is very important, (2.) is not: it's easy to add RI after migration. Thanks -- Fernando Dias |
