Ian Branch | Hi Team,
If User A has Table A open in App A, and and User B opens App A, how can I detect if Table A is in use at this time and prevent B from running a procedure that would use Table A?? Regards & TIA, Ian |

Open it Exclusive for user A. That will stop anyone else using it until released. The only other way I know is to set a flag to control things. Roy Lambert |

Anything else is going to involve you getting into the "locking" business with a locks table, etc. Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
