Hi Team,
I have seen a couple of references to CheckActive in the forum, and I note it is in edbcomps.pas but doesn't seem to be surfaced.
Is this analogous to something surfaced in EDBEngine, EDBSession or EDBDatabase?
I have had a couple of error messages from my client that have failed at TEDBDatabase.CheckActive.
I think I would like to check this before they continue a routine...

Any thoughts/ideas?

Just looking in edbcomps all its doing is seeing if the database engine is running and if not returning an error. Roughly analogous to engine.active
