I am a long time EDB user and I have never seen this error.

I am working on a local machine development machine in the Delphi IDE.

I have EDB Server running, and I am connecting to it with a Delphi App which is has not had data access aspect changed for years.

At the "connection" stage to the database I receive an error:

[Window Title]
AppName

[Content]
"AppName" First stage Database Connection Error:
Session Connection Failed LINE: uDB3044
ElevateDB Error #1104 The IP address 127.0.0.1 is blocked

[OK]

The EDB Server is on the "exclusions" list for my anti-virus.

I have upgraded to Windows 11, but the App had connected perfectly well in Windows 11 until now.

Any advise on the reasons for this error, or how to get to the bottom of it would be gratefully received.

This is caused by EDB server having either address in the blocked list -
or not having address (or wildcard in the allowed list)

Stop EDB server and go into server settings and look for Authorized IP
Addresses and Blocked IP Addresses and confirm those are OK

Generally you just want * in the Authorized list to indicate "allow all"
