New version of the edbsrvr source code? |

Dennis445 | Is there any plans to update the edbsrvr source code for vcl, it seems there is a bit of work that needs to be done on the user end just to get it to compile, like having to find the edbutilcomps and fastmm also some depreciated dependencies.
Should this not be ready to go? Seems like extra work just to change the default encryption password. I am using enterprise 10.4. |

Maybe I am missing something in regards to changing the default encryption password. One of the things I notice is that when I try to it creates an ini file that is totally readable (Not encrypted). Also I cant get the server to start once I did this. The other thing I noticed is that if a user were to open the server configuration screen that they could change the password and essential stop the server from running until the correct password was entered. Should there not be a password dialog before the configuration screen pops up? Sorry new here. |
