Does EDBQuery.Refresh do anything if the Query is not RequestSensitive? Emab Docs say "Note: The Refresh method does not work for all TDataSet descendants. In particular, TQuery components do not support the Refresh method if the query is not "live". To refresh a static TQuery, close and reopen the dataset." Is "live" = "RequestSensitive"? Regards & TIA, Ian >> Hi Ian, RequestSensitive requests EDB engine for a sensitive (live) resultset. However depending on the query it might or might not be possible. Basically check the "sensitive" property after to see if it is live.
