Hi Team,
Before I hassle Tim.  
I just installed EDB 2.37 b2 per Tim's notification.
Everything installed OK.
I run the edbsrvr as a service.
On restart and trying to connect the server rejected the connection.  Even from edbmgr.
I reinstated the 2.37 b1 edbsrvr and all is fine.  All the Apps, etc are per 2.37 b2.
Anybody else experienced this??

I tend to be the one to send him bug reports right after each release, so thanks for taking point on this one.

Hi Terry,
Tim says he can't reproduce the issue with the server either as an application or a service.
Perhps you could also submit your findings/experience?

Tim believes he has identified the issue now.  No need for you to send him anything.

The issue is caused when this setting in the edbsrvr.ini file is blank (the default is blank):

[Server]
Trace File Name=

If you populate it with a file name, the EDB Server will work.

That's just a workaround, however, and a fix is forthcoming.

Hi Ian,

I have downloaded the update today, compiled my new server and it
worked without problems with
[Server]
Trace File Name=

So I don't have a setting there and it works - or has Tim released a
new update/build on sunday?

AFAIK there hasn't been an update yet.
IIRC, the issue was related to use on Win 10/11.
