I'm currently faced with a customer who requires 99.999% reliability for a
multi-user application, but is unwilling to deal with licensing fees and the
complexities inherent in a SQL-based solution

I'm considering ElevateDB, and I have a few questions:

 1. We'd like to offer our customer one multilingual exec that allows the
installation of the ElevateDB client, server or both to target computers.
Approximately how large are the Elevate client/server runtime modules
(within the compressed setup file)?

 2. The workflow scenario is: one database, approximately 10 tables, 3 to
10 concurrent users, one or more users doing bulk inserts of several hundred
or possibly several thousand records (record size = ~400 bytes), one or more
users doing reads of existing data. Database size will probably vary between
100 - 750 MB. Is this within ElevateDB's handling capacity? (pretty sure it
is, just thought I'd ask

The ElevateDB Server is approximately 1.5MB in size.  The footprint of
ElevateDB in the client application really depends upon what eventually gets
linked in by your application, so it can change slightly.   However, a
simple single-table application clocks in at around the same size - 1.5MB.
You should expect the base size of the .EXE to be between 1.5MB and 2.0MB,
excluding any other code and assuming that you're using the VCL.
