EDB Name in Add / Remove Programs |

Kevin Kozlowski | I have Delphi 5, 7, and 2007 installed on my system, and I install EDB for each version.
Add / Remove Programs the text "Elevate DB VCL Client-Server with Source 1.05 Build for Delphi" is shown for each version (three times). It appears that the name is so long that it gets truncated by the Add / Remove Programs dialog (XP SP2). The problem is that it gets truncated before the version of Delphi is displays. You may want to consider using a somewhat shorter name (maybe abbreviate Client-Server as "CS") in the future. BTW, the same thing happens with DBISAM except part of the Delphi version is displayed. DBISAM shows as "DBISAM VCL Client-Server with Source 4.25 Build 6 for Delphi 20". Anyway, not a big deal, but I thought I'd pass it on in case you were not aware of this. -Kevin |

<< Anyway, not a big deal, but I thought I'd pass it on in case you were not aware of this. >> I though that we shortened them up already, but I'll take a look again and see what the issue is. Thanks, -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
