Jason Lee | I'm just giddy about surprise features that *may* be in EDB. If you've
been a customer since V1, then you'll know what I mean. |

Comparing Borland to Elevate in terms of meeting cusotmers expectations is not a fair comparison. -- David Farrell-Garcia Whidbey Island Software, LLC |

Jason Lee | It is when you are trying to explain the extent of a continuum....
Borland=Lowest of the low Elevate=Highest of the high David Farrell-Garcia wrote: > Comparing Borland to Elevate in terms of meeting cusotmers expectations > is not a fair comparison. |

"J. B. Ferguson" | <<Yep, and it is a testament to how much we really love this product.
ABSOLUTELY! I have held off starting two projects since September 2005 waiting for EDB (when EDB was first expected to be released.) These are projects I could have written with DBIsam v4.x but wanted them to be strictly EDB. Luckily the powers that be have thus far listened to my reasoning. Although I do have to start the projects come January 1st or risk being pummelled (Tim...sorry for the not so subtle hint. -- Regards, Jan Ferguson |

I have no doubt. Actually, I appreciate the fact that you have held off releasing it until you were sure that it was ready to go...rather than releasing a product with a lot of bugs or half finished requested enhancements. Kudos to you! BTW, many thanks to Sam for enduring the many hours which I'm sure you spend at the computer to make we users happy. -- Regards, Jan Ferguson Tim Young [Elevate Software] wrote: <<Jan, << <<<< ABSOLUTELY! Michael Baytalsky | Let's vote for adding Santa clause to EDB's SQL. I propose the following syntax for the clause: Select * from "huge table" Order by "unindexed column" Santa please make it work fast! Michael > Will Santa be good to us this Christmas???? > |
