Playing with text filters I thought the best way was to cu'n'paste your text from the OLH into an sql window in EDBMan - the cursor vanishes. Paste the text into Notepad, remove the whatever eol characters are there and then paste into EDBMan and its fine Roy Lambert |

Also, is this the WinHelp or the PDF, or MS Help 2 ? -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

<< Duh - whatever you get from EDBMan when you click sql help - I think its WinHelp >> It's WinHelp, for now. And you didn't mention where you loaded the help from.....okay, just tried it and it still works okay for me. However, I'm using XP SP2 still - are you using Vista ? -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

Wash your mouth out - the only pc I have with Vista is simply for digitising my music. Obviously some weird setting somewhere - doesn't matter much cos I can paste into Notepad and then move from there into EDBMan Roy Lambert |

<< Wash your mouth out - the only pc I have with Vista is simply for digitising my music. >> Same here - I'm keeping Vista to a test PC for now. << Obviously some weird setting somewhere - doesn't matter much cos I can paste into Notepad and then move from there into EDBMan >> I wonder if it is a Widestring/AnsiString issue ? There's something funky about the format that makes EDB think that there isn't any usable text in the ClipBoard. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
