You can use DECIMAL instead. In my routine to create im-memory tables from a TEDBTable with persistent fields defined I tried converting ftCurrency to DECIMAL (20,2) but Delphi didn't like it. Roy Lambert |

<< What happened to the decimals in the currency? Not to mention the money type! So much ANSI not good. >> Use a DECIMAL type if you want to specify the scale of the column: http://www.elevatesoft.com/edb1sql_exact_numeric_types.htm The ftCurrency type in Delphi is just a throwback to the Paradox currency/money type that was just a dressed-up Float field with currency formatting. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
