Thread Feature request: what to reverse-engineer in database
Wed, Jan 16 2008 2:01 AMPermanent Link

Rony Gellaerts
Tim,

EDB V1.07b2

In the ElevateDB Manager, when you want to reverse-engineer the database, then he takes all the tables, views, procedures,
functions. Is it not better that EDB manager present the user a list (checkbox) where he can choose which tables, vieuws, ... he
want to reverse engineer for that particular database ?
Otherwise you can have an error that when he takes all (specialy with data included), an error appears because the editor goes
beyond 32768 characters (i thought it was an List index out of bounds error).

And -asked it once already, but don't know if it's still in the requestlist:
an option 'With Data' would also be very, very handy!

Regards, Harry

Rony Gellaerts
Harry,

Download V1.07b2. Since that version, there is an option 'With Data'.

Rony,

There will be an option for this in the future, yes.

<< Otherwise you can have an error that when he takes all (specialy with

I will have a fix for this in 1.07 Build 3.
