Thread 107b3 mIgration from dbIsam3

"Harry de Boer"
Tim,

Did something change in the way a migration (dbIsam3 - put the dll in the
same dir as the config file) must take place? I tried it, but nothing
happens (no errors though).

Regards, Harry

So are you saying the migrator doesn't appear in the drop down list then?

"Harry de Boer"
Roy,

No. I'm saying that the migrator appears, but when I press the button the
dialog closes without error and without migrating (nothing happens).

The one like that that got me was I was forgetting to set the parameter - I'd type in the directory name and forget to click set parameter value.

"Harry de Boer"
Roy,

Yes happened to me too - but not this time! Are you saying that you can
still migrate with 1.07b3 ?

Got it: it's the path that causes it. There's a space and a point in it. I
think that it's the point that causes trouble. Copying the data to another
directory and it goes well.

F:\Project Files\Uwrk\Prjct\Version 1.05\Database\CsDB\

Tim, can you confirm this?

Regards, Harry

Try putting quotes round it - see if its the same as for file names.
