Have you any idea what can cause the problem with clicking into EDBManager and finding your cursor 1 character in front of where it should be? Its highly frustrating, and the only text editing tool of any sort where it happens. It is possible to get the cursor in the right place but only with "ultra high precision" clicking.

If I add a "> half-character width" weight to the character selection, will
that help ?  IOW, are you expecting that if you click past the half-point of
a character that it should go to the right one character ?

Good question, I think so, it sounds like it, but don't know without trying it, but testing a couple of other editors it seems as though that's the anticipated behaviour.
