I updated to version 1.08 and when i compile project i get following error :

C:\Program Files\ElevateDB VCL Standard\Version 1\RAD Studio (Delphi)
2007\code\edbcomps.pas(23,46): Fatal Error error 2051: F2051 Unit edbexpr
was compiled with a different version of edbconsts.EDB_EXPRSTR_ABORTED

I ran into the same thing.  My steps for correcting it was to uninstall EDB
1.08, manually delete the contents of the install directory, and then
reinstall 1.08 again.  After that, everything compiled just fine.

Thank's, it helped. I have manually install packages to Delphi but seems
working now.

Did you uninstall the prior version first ?  If so, then there may be an
issue with the edbcomps.pas unit being put in the main \code subdirectory.
I will double-check this and make sure that this is corrected for the next
build.
