Given that the user security and other maintenance facilities are available in both local and server installations with EDB, it made sense to make it all one interface instead of keeping the two separate. For example, if you want to view the server sessions on the ElevateDB Server that you're connected to, you just click on the session in question in the left-hand treeview, and then click on the Manage Server Sessions task link in the right-hand task pane. You can also do cool things like view all of the locks currently placed on an ElevateDB Server. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
