EMS SQL Manager for DBISAM |
Sun, Feb 24 2008 3:17 AM | Permanent Link |
Lance Rasmussen Jazzie Software Team Elevate | I've used EMS for a nice GUI to manage and easily build up query's via GUI
to then place in code. I was dissapointed, however, that during a chat conversation with them, they have no plans to make an ElevateDB edition. Is there any GUI 3rd party tools out there yet that do a similar thing? Active Database Software has a query component that has both DBISAM and ElevateDB support, but its not really what I'm looking for. Lance |

"Lance Ras" | Tim,
you don't do too bad. I didn't think the manager did graphical query building. I.E. I want Table A, Table B, Table C. Drag relationship link between primary keys from A to B and B to C. Set criteria and order details. Then show me the query statement. I guess kinda like Access. I would love it if the Manager did that (and prefer!!!!!!!!) Having it GUI based, takes the guesswork out of things as well as helps out database nubies. You'd need to do some of the core bits but I, and I'm sure many others here, would be happy to contribute time to the UI part. Just ask. Roy Lambert |
