Its currently possible to define multiple text indices on the same column. I'm not sure this is sensible, or desirable. I'd prefer it to be disallowed. Roy Lambert |

Imagine a scenario whereby you want to use different collations with each text index for the purposes of searching using a specific collation. For example, one case-sensitive and the other case-insensitive, or one accent-sensitive and the other accent-insensitive. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
