Dave M | EDB Man shows Error #600 File manager error ( Cannot create file
D:\...\AdditionalBeta\Version1\EDBConfig.EDBCfg (OS Error: The system cannot find the path specified)) This happens when using Default session, local. Default Remote works. What happened is I installed one of the betas (7 or 9, can't remember) in the above directory. Then the beta was uninstalled and v 1 installed. V 1 is looking in a directory which was created by a beta and no longer exists. Did a quick look thru the registry, but couldn't find anything. Maybe a key left in the registry problem?? Dave M |

Maybe a key left in the registry problem?? >> Modify the Config Folder setting using the Edit Options task link when you first start up the EDB Manager. That will fix the problem. The .INI file was kept from the prior installation and is causing the problem. The installation does not delete the .INI file during an uninstall. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
