>If I would create a temporary table, it will be created always on disk ? As things currently are - yes. I asked Tim the same question some time back and I'm hoping he'll alter it so they can go into memory but I'm doubtful. You can always just create them in a memory database yourself. The only problem is that it makes it a bit more awkward when joining etc, and the component HAS to be linked to the memory database rather than the disk one and all references to the disk ones need fully qualifying. The reason I've opted for in-memory rather than temporary is I can guarantee (even with M$'s stuff) that memory tables are cleaned up by a reboot Roy Lambert [Team Elevate] |

<< If I would create a temporary table, it will be created always on disk ? >> As Roy indicated, yes. I'm looking into adding an in-memory option at some point also. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
