Hi everyone,

general question: which backup-software are you using for your delphi-projects and your
databases?
For my projects I wrote an own "version-controller" that backs up every build, but it
would be interesting to know what you are using.

Is there anything like "time-machine for mac" also for Windows? I like the possibility to
restore any version of any day by a mouse-click.

Thanks. Uli

I'm using a combination of  CVS (for production code) and GExperts add-on
backup. GEExperts backup is for small things i don't want to add to cvs or
if i need a quick backup without doing a check-in. Both are manually
triggered so if you're looking for auto-backup whenever you do a build they
might not be for you.

Finally both the dev machine and box running cvs server are dumped to an
external hard drives nightly using Acronis True Image product.

Thank you. Good combination.

Similarly to Raul, I use JediVCS--an open source client/server version
control system written in Delphi and works with several different
database back-ends.  I have an automated nightly process that backs up
the VCS database and uploads it to my web server across the country.
So everything related to my development projects (code, documentation,
SQL scripts) gets put in there.  It's fast, solid, and I don't have to
worry about it.
