In EDB 2 ,  what is the max lenght of single database file name  ?

( without .extension )

can i change this Limit ? ( i have tables with very long file name )

From the manual

<<Max Identifier Length The maximum length of an identifier is 40 characters.>>

Which applies to table names as well.

Not without owning the source and doing (I suspect) a lot of work.

If its to remind you of what the table is for you could use the description field.
