Ed Horrocks | Hi,
I have just created a new session in the manager but cannot connect to I'm getting a #501 all the files and directories used in the session edit dialog exist and the config files etc get generated I cannot connect however even under the administrator account. The 'default' session works as normal. I know I have probably missed something..but can't see what. |

Just click on the session name, click on the Edit Session task link, and click on the Login tab. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

did'nt get anywhere with your suggestion. However I did manage to move forward by doing this. First I edited the default session to use the config and catalog I wanted to use for my new session. Created a user. I was then able to connect to the session on that account. I then edited the default session back to where it came from. I can now use both sessions. If you entered in valid user name and password in that dialog, then you would have been able to open the session. Are you expecting the session dialog to *create* the user ? If so, then that is incorrect. To create a user, you must login as an administrator and create the user using the Users node of the EDB Manager under the Session node. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
