EDB Server Hosting |

"David Cornelius" | I have a dedicated Linux server with a few web sites and am planning on
hosting an ElevateDB database there for one of my customers. The next logical step would be to offer it to others as well. Is there anyone else that is doing this? Is there possibly a market need for this? Does Elevate Software offer this? What kind of price point would make sense? Any comments welcome! -- David Cornelius CorneliusConcepts.com |

However, exactly how much, I can't really say. b) Big caveat - EDB doesn't do Linux yet until the FreePascal port is completed. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

I was wondering if I had missed something because I didn't see it, but haven't had time to get into it deeply yet. I'm starting off with Windows 2008 Server in my home office. I've got a nice high-speed internet connection, but Verizon FiOS strictly prohibits servers, so I don't know how long I can hide it. Then again, port 12010 isn't widely known! I guess I better download a copy of FreePascal. -- David Cornelius CorneliusConcepts.com |
