Mauro,

<< when i send an email at sales@elevatesoft.com  i received this : >>

Did you see my response yesterday regarding this:

=========================================

This is from our mail server, and means that our mail server cannot get DNS
information for the sending mail server in order to verify that it is indeed
a valid mail server for your email address and not a spam server that is
masquerading as some other server.

If you want to email me your private email address, I can look into the
issue further and see exactly what the problem is.

Mauro,

I got your email address from the evaluation sign up information, and have
put it in our white list so you should have no further problems sending us
email.

However, just for the record, you're sending out email via a server that is
not the mail server for your email address that you're using in your emails,
and that is why they are being bounced by our mail server.  Our mail server
requires that any incoming emails be sent from an appropriate mail server
for the sending email address (From: or Sender: header), and it checks this
by checking the MX records for your email domain and comparing them to the
sending mail server's DNS information.  If it doesn't find a match, then it
rejects the email.

This has always puzzled me. How would my ISP's smtp-server know anything
about the domain I use, when sending e-mails? I use smtp.fullrate.dk for
sending, but that has no connection with my domain, which is @routeware.dk.
And www.routeware.dk is hosted with a completely different company.

1) If you're on our white list, then it doesn't matter either way.

2) This technique is the only way we can avoid sending prompts for white
list inclusion to parties that are having their email address hijacked in
the email.   If we don't do this, then we end up getting blocked by IP
address listing services due to us sending out prompts for white list
inclusion to people that have no idea who we are.

You have to remember, we get literally hundreds of spam emails *every day*.
We've blocked 682 spam emails today alone, and it's 2:30 in the afternoon.
