Restore Database |

Heiko Knuettel | Hi again,
I have a test server and a production server. I used to copy the database folder from the production server to the test server from time to time. Now I tried to do the same with stores and backup/restore in EDB Manager. I backed up the production server, and copied the file to the store on the test server. On the test server, I tried to restore the database, but got an "ElevateDB Error #1301 Error restoring the database db1 (The table angebot version in the backup does not match the version in the database catalog)" No big deal, I can use windows explorer instead, but I'm interested in what went wrong. Of course not every source table version matches the destination catalog - but I backup up the source catalog, so why isn't it simply overwritten ? Heiko |
