Installing an ElevateDB system |

"Paul Coshott" | Hi All,
I have just started writing my first system using ElevateDB 2 (I never used v1, but have used DBISAM extensively). Could someone point me in the right direction so I can read up on what I need to do to install my software on a user's site - mainly in relation to the catalogue. I'm not sure where this should go (and is it different on Vista to XP) and what do I need to do at run time to make sure the software knows where the catalogue is etc. Do I get the database locations from the catalogue? If so, how do I update the catalogue on the user's site to point to where their database is. Or maybe I haven't got a clue what I'm talking about?? Thanks for any help, Paul |

That should give you an idea of how to structure the database creation and database object (table, procedure, etc.) creation. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
