EDB2 Support Datadictionary ( alternative fields description ) ? |

i need deploy for my ( advanced ) clients an application for view / make report on my DB. I should to view at my client, not a True fieldname ,but a more easy name. not on all fields... but only on difficult fieldname. My clients should to use ReportBuilder ( enduser ) Editor for create new Report. i don't want write this in my application src, only in DB. Where i can write the alternative FieldName ? |

i have opened EDB Manager , alter table, find my field, add a DESCRIPTION on my Field Property. save. open delphi , drop all edb comp. , add EDBtable , datasource , grid , open table i see the Original FieldName. i don't see my description of the field in a header column of my field. |
