Is there an event or something I can use to automatically open tables (not queries obviously)?

If there's some sensible place to do so I'd like to so that tables are opened automagically whenever I do something like .FindKey, .Edit or call for a field from them.

Currently I'm peppering my code with "if not table.active then table.open" statements which works well, but I will keep forgetting.
