Timestamp format in EDB manager |

Darrell | In EDB Manager the timestamp format puzzles me: On one hand, it displays the date part ISO compliant as YYYY-MM-DD, on the other hand the time part is in the annoying 12 h AM/PM format rather than in 24h. My regional settings use 24h, so what drives this behaviour? TIA Darrell |

Either Tim's formatting, or the shortdate format on your PC, and looking at my PC's settings I'd guess Tim. Roy Lambert [Team Elevate] |

<< In EDB Manager the timestamp format puzzles me: On one hand, it displays the date part ISO compliant as YYYY-MM-DD, on the other hand the time part is in the annoying 12 h AM/PM format rather than in 24h. >> I'll change it - the 24-hour ISO format should be used instead. The EDB Manager is just calling this method in the TEDBEngine component: http://www.elevatesoft.com/manual?action=mancompmethod&id=edb2&product=d&version=7&comp=TEDBEngine&method=DateTimeToSQLStr with False as the second parameter. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
