>Run a script with an error, then press [Cancel] - nothing (that I can detect) seems to happen. I think Cancel is meant to abort the operation of a running script at the next point it can do so. If the script is already stopped, or hasn't started because of an error there's nothing it can do. Roy Lambert [Team Elevate] |

Kai | Roy: You might have a point - Tim would know for sure what his intentions were. I'd expect the cancel button to be disabled at this point, though. << Run a script with an error, then press [Cancel] - nothing (that I can detect) seems to happen. >> The Cancel operation is used for user-defined abort handling in a script in response to a SET PROGRESS statement: http://www.elevatesoft.com/manual?action=mantopic&id=edb2sql&category=13&topic=250 http://www.elevatesoft.com/manual?action=mantopic&id=edb2sql&category=13&topic=252 http://www.elevatesoft.com/manual?action=mantopic&id=edb2sql&category=23&topic=501 What you want is the Stop option (Ctrl+F2), from the Script menu. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
