I have the ElevateDB server running on one PC and am running EDB Manager on another. I can create a remote session and connect to the server
but when I want to create a database (or, to be exact, point to a database already on the remote PC), should the path to the database be from the
server's point of view (seems logical) or from Manager's POV?

When using remote connections, database (and store) paths are *always* relative to the server.
