haven't tried the opticians but they do a nifty specs cleaning cloth.

U know Swarfega the mechanics hand cleaning gunky stuff ?
Well in B&Q I found a couple of different wet wipes made by
them, so I loaded up, the one for paint was fandabbydozzy.
The thing actualy took paint from my hands. Also if u cut in
with gloss and screw up the emulsion it just wipes off with them
wipes. The household ones are good also I did the bathroom
tiles in notime at all,.
