No, same situation - Close and Open is required for passing in new parameter
values.  All of the TDataSet descendants work in this fashion due to the
architecture.

Just to inform you - I messed that up with a problem we had in an
earlier version: When a dataset was changed by a second query, a
refresh-call was not sufficient to show the changes in a stored
procedure. That was fixed.
