Thread Renaming of tables within EDBManager

I must say I am impressed with the new ElevateDB after being a DBISAM user for many years. Nice job Tim and co!

Looking through the forums it would seem that I am not alone in wanting to be able to change the name of a table from within ElevateDB
EDBManager - am I correct that this is something in the works and that you can't do it in v2.02 build 11? It would be really, really, really useful
if you could....!!

I think renaming of objects is promised for 2.03 but whilst its in the roadmap it doesn't save which version so I could be mis-remembering.

Edward,

<I must say I am impressed with the new ElevateDB after being a DBISAM user for many years. Nice job Tim and co!>

I'm also impressed, and more knowing the small size of Elevate Software! Its a lot of work for few people.

<Looking through the forums it would seem that I am not alone in wanting to be able to change the name of a table from within ElevateDB >

Currently you can not change the name to any object (fields, procedures, functions ...) IMHO it would be in a high position in the task list ...

It's done already for 2.03.  I just finished it up a day or so ago.  The row
value support is being completed now along with the enhanced
reverse-engineering, so 2.03 is getting close (finally).

Fabulous news! Incidentally I tried my app on Vista this morning which fell over in a heap with DBISAM but now works just fine with no changes,
brilliant, brilliant and brilliant!
