"Petter Topp" | Hi.
I have seen that there is a ADO.Net provider that can be used with Visual Studio for connectivity to ElevateDB. 1. Where can I find the AO.Net provider for Visual Studio. 2. How do I install? 3. Any examples for a Compact Framework application using ADO.Net for ElevateDB. I use Dbisam 4 today. Would it be possible to run both Dbisam 4 and ElevateDB in my app. developed with Delphi 2007 as an intermediate version? Best Regards Petter D2007, Dbisam4 |

<< 1. Where can I find the AO.Net provider for Visual Studio. >> It is part of the EDB-DAC products, which include both the ODBC Driver and the .NET Data Provider for EDB. << 2. How do I install? >> You just run the installation program, and then add the EDB CF assembly to the References section of your .NET CF project. << 3. Any examples for a Compact Framework application using ADO.Net for ElevateDB. >> Yes, I can send you one via email. Just email me and I'll respond with the application. It isn't marked up or "sample-ready", but it is a working CF application that uses EDB. << I use Dbisam 4 today. Would it be possible to run both Dbisam 4 and ElevateDB in my app. developed with Delphi 2007 as an intermediate version? >> Yes. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
